The meeting point for your Venice Gondola ride is Campo Santa Maria del Giglio, a guide will accompany you to board your Gondola nearby.

Board the distinctive Gondola and cruise along some of Venice’s backstreets as well as the Grand Canal.

The Grand Canal has been called ‘the finest street in the world”. As your gondola flows through its shimmering waters, you will see a boulevard of baroque palazzo dating from the 12th to the 18th century.

During the Gondola ride you will be serenaded by your Gondolier.

The tour ends at Campo Santa Maria del Giglio.

On a trip that was packed with amazing experiences, the sunset gondola ride was a major highlight! The route through several small canals as well as the Grand Canal, the music, and the beautiful gondolas were all outstanding. The only downside involved the instructions to confirm our reservations by telephone one day in advance which created problems since we were at sea on a cruise and that was not feasible. Evidently, it was not necessary, but allowing confirmation by email would be an improvement.

It is must do thing till You are visiting Venice. I would recommend chose a Gondola Ride include Serenades performance. Gondoliero serenades performed in warm, gorgeous sunset over Ponte Academico bridge brings unforgettable memories for long winter evenings.

I was under the impression that our serenade would be on our gondola. It was 5 or 6 boats sent out with one singer. Had a great time though.

This was our first trip to venice,and the fact we booked the Gondola Ride with Isango,really added to the whole fabulous experience.Although it was a group Gondola trip,we were lucky enough to have the accordianist and singer in with us.They were so accomplished and fully appreciated and enjoyed by everybody in the group.All in all a great deal.

Please note

  • Please call the activity operator at least 24 hours prior to start of the tour to confirm the details.
  • Tours will not operate in the event of bad weather, high tide or Gondolier's strike. Your tour will either be-rearranged or a full refund offered.
  • Reservations can not be accepted without printed vouchers. Customers should surrender their paper vouchers at the meeting point.
  • Free for children under 2 years of age, if they're in the arms of their parents (Children should not occupy a seat in the gondola).
  • The tour is not private, your Gondola will be shared with other guests (maximum 6 people per gondola, seat will be allocated by the organisers).
  • The Gondolas are accompanied by a singer + a musician. There is not one singer for each Gondola instead Gondolas travel in a group to allow multiple Gondolas to listen to the same musicians.
  • Please note that due to the popularity of the Gondola ride, the boarding area is likely to be crowded.
  • Refunds cannot be offered in the case of late arrivals, and no shows.

Additional Info

The confirmation voucher includes the local activity operator’s contact details and local telephone numbers at the destination. They will happily answer any logistical questions you may have. This tour can easily be taken by those arriving in Venice as part of a cruise. Most cruise companies offer water taxi transfers into St Marks Square (approx 10 minutes) from where Campo Santa Maria del Giglo is less than a 10 minute walk. Alternatively if you have more time and would like to explore the enchanting back streets of Venice you can walk in around 1 hour.
