Your next stop is the Doge’s Palace where you will visit areas which are open to the public. Cross the lagoon in a water taxi and visit the picturesque islands of Murano and Burano. The first stop is Murano, known for its tradition of glassmaking, where you will see glassblowers in action. The next stop would be the fishing island of Burano with its brightly coloured houses and its tradition of lace-making. Watch the centuries-old vocation of lace-making by women who have been sewing lace for generations.
