Your guide will lead you to Marco Polo’s house and narrate stories about his adventures in the Far East. Walk on the beautiful cobble streets and marvel at Campo SS Giovannie e Paolo and Campo Santa Maria Formosa. These piazzas represent the glorious days of the Renaissance. You will then be escorted to the famous Bridge of Sighs which was the escape route for the fabled romantic, Giocomo Casanova, from prison.
Avoid long queues and enjoy fast track entry into the magnificent St Mark’s Basilica- with skip the line access. Usually tourists are allowed into this sacred cathedral for only ten minutes, however this tour gives you extra time to admire masterpieces like the bronze gilded horses. The tour also provides exclusive entrance tickets to the terraces of St Mark’s Basilica, from where you will enjoy a bird’s eye view of the St Mark’s Square.
Next, head to the mainland and visit Doge’s Palace, a major landmark in northern Italy. Note the intricate details of the gothic architecture and marvel at the artistic sculptures and frescoes adorning the island.

A glassmaking demonstration in one of Murano’s factories will shed light on the intricate crafting process. From this factory, you can also purchase stunning glassware at discounted rates to take home as souvenirs.
During the final part of the tour, return to the water taxi and set off for Burano, an archipelago of four islands linked by bridges. With a vibrant island atmosphere, Burano is known for its brilliantly coloured houses and expert production of traditional lace work, a craft that continues to attract visitors and customers today. Witness a lacemaking demonstration at a local shop and learn more about the traditional methods and history of lace stitching. The beautifully exquisite display pieces on show are bound to impress all art enthusiasts.
At the end of the tour, head back to the mainland via boat. You will be dropped off in front of the Hotel Gabrielli Sandwirth, near San Marco.
